Jay Herbig's Recent Work Experience

This is a brief overview of what I've been doing the last decade or so. There will also be a download link for my current resume at the end of this page.

Current Employment

The Hammers Group, inc - Supporting Current Landsat 8 and building future Landsat 9 infrastructure leveraging Dell/EMC Storage, VMWare Hypervisors, Dell Servers, Juniper and Cisco networking components, etc.

Previous Employment

The Squires Group - from September 2014 to July 2017 contracted to Honeywell/KBR Wiley to support the Landsat 8 environment until the contract was won by General Dynamics and Hammers Group.

PHH Arval/Element - Supported all facets of the corporate environment of PHH Arval from 2000 through 2013. Managed multiple EMC Symmetrix and VMAX storage arrays which hosted corporate computing assets including sybase and oracle databases. Was responsible for both the production and development environments.

Espire - Supported Production and development environments for Espire from November 1998 to January 2000 until they relocated their datacenter to Herndon, VA. Supported EMC Storage, Solaris, linux and Windows platforms.

California Microwave (now Northrup Grumman) - built and supported the Airborne Reconnaisance Low - Multifunction (ARL-M) platform. Performed field support in the United States and abroad, supported new software builds and provided customer training when software enhancements were added.
